Defining Australia Post Shipping Rates |
Australia post has broken its domestic parcel distribution into
16 zones for distance charges. In this tutorial we will show you
how to transfer this information into your Markets Online Shipping
Destinations and Shipping Charges areas.

Step 1. Defining Australia Post Shipping Destinations
In order to charge the correct amount for the area
your package will be traveling to you must first define all 16 Australia
Post Domestic Shipping Zones in your shipping
destinations area.
1A: Create a new Shipping Destination
and call it N1 (New South Wales 1)
1B: Make sure you define the
country as Australia.
1C: Define the postcodes for
the shipping zone. Below is a link to a table with the postcodes
of each Aus Post domestic shipping zone. Cut and paste the N1
postcode list into the postcode area of your N1 shipping destination.

1D: After you have added the
postcode list click Save Zone Details.

should now look like the below examples
Repeat steps 1A - 1D for all the shipping
zones listed in the below example. When you have finished your list
should look identical to Image 3.

Items up to 20 kg shipped to N1 zone will be a flat rate of
$7.90 and 90c per kg. |

be a flat rate of $6.80 |

Items up to 3 kg shipped to N1 zone EXPRESS
will be a flat rate of $9.70 |

|
Items up to 20 kg shipped to N1 zone EXPRESS
will be a flat rate of $9.70 and $3.20 per kg. |
