The second and fourth Saturday of the month is when the Castle Hill Showground at Castle Hill is filled with stalls of fresh produce and tasty prepared foods and many shoppers buying them up.
Starting at 8:00 in the morning, the market stalls have all types of fruit and vegetables like apples, corn, lemons, olives, peaches and raspberries.
Shoppers can also purchase prawns, rabbit, duck, oysters, beef, lamb, pork, eggs and fish. There are prepared foods like jams, breads, sauces and oils. During the Christmas season there are Christmas Trees available at the Castle Hill Farmers and Fine Food Market.
The market is located on Carrington Road at the Castle Hill Showground in Castle Hill, New South Wales. To get to Carrington Road, drive along Victoria Avenue or Showground Road.
The Castle Hill Farmers and Fine Food Market is presented by the Hawkesbury Harvest Farmers and Fine Food Markets. The Castle Hill Farmers and Fine Food Market takes a break in January and doesn’t have any market days during the month.
By car, the journey from Sydney to Castle Hill is under an hour. Use the M2 Motorway to get there. There are numerous shops to visit around Castle Hill, and many major stores like Target and Myer are located at the Castle Towers Shopping Centre.
