The Penrith Farmers and Fine Food Market is on the first Saturday of the month. It opens at 8:00 in the morning and closes just after lunch at 1:00 in the afternoon.
The market has an amazing selection of fresh produce and prepared foods using regional ingredients. There are a variety of different meats, various egg dishes, prepared jams and oils, breads, fruit and vegetables.
The market is located next to the Joan Sutherland Performing Art Centre and Penrith Library, in Penrith, New South Wales. It is on High St, which intersects with Mulgoa Road to the west and High Street becomes Henry Street to the east. The Great Western Highway is only a block away to the north.
Penrith Railway Station is only a short walk from the market. After departing the train station, head south along Station Street and then make a right turn to walk to the market along High Street.
Located next to the Penrith Farmers and Fine Food Market is the Westfield Penrith shopping mall. A morning at the market can followed by a film at the Hoyts Cinema or shopping at Myer, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Woolworths, Exclusive Collectables and many other stores in the mall.
There isn’t a Penrith Farmers and Fine Food Market during January of each year.
