Original Open Market
The Original Open Market is held on the Market Reserve, Beach Road, Christies Beach on the first and third Sunday of each month from 9.00am to 2.00pm. Catering for up to 100 stalls at any given market, which cost $10 for a vehicle or $16 for a vehicle and trailer.
Stalls carry a wide range of goods from crafts, second hand items, plants and home grown fruit and vegetables. No new goods or foodstuff is permitted.
The Original Open Market is reputed to be one of the best markets in South Australia with the strictest rules. That is probably why it has been so successful for over 22 years.
New stallholders are always welcome, although professional dealers are not permitted.
This is a charity market run by a group of eight volunteers who have donated over $120,469 to people and organisations within the City of Onkaparinga.
