Set between Hurstbridge and Kinglake on the edge of Melbourne’s suburbs in a beautiful country setting, this tiny town comes alive with a huge array of produce and unique goods offered for sale every single Saturday.
St Andrews Community Market has been selling its wares for 31 years in a wonderful bushland setting. What a fantastic way to buy your weekly fresh fruit and vegetables and organic produce straight from the growers.
The music of drums, guitars, didgeridoos and singing combine with the joyous expression of dancing to add to the festive atmosphere of shopping for whatever you need. Jewellery, clothes, household goods, and even alternative medical practitioners are among the finds at the St Andrews Community Market.
This is truly a community market set in many years of tradition where local growers, artists and service people offer their wares, skills and alternative advice. St Andrews Community Market is an environmentally friendly market and asks its patrons to bring their own eco friendly bags to take their goods home in. Stall holders are trying to reduce the use of plastic bags and their impact on the environment.
Please leave you dog at home as animals at the market contravene local food bylaws.
