Fullarton Park in South Australia becomes a market once a month during the year. Every fourth Saturday of the month the market is the place to go for bargain items.
The tree-filled Fullarton Park is an ideal location for the market. Situated on the corner of Fisher Street and Fullarton Road, the park’s trees provide shade during the warmer months. To warm up when attending the market during winter, purchase some of the hot food that is cooked at the market like sausages, hamburgers, bacon and eggs.
There is a large variety of plants to select from at the Fullarton Plant and Craft Market. There are seeds, little Bonsai trees, small seedlings, flowers and fruit-producing trees.
Other sellers at the Fullarton Plant and Craft Market bring fresh produce from their farms to this market. Some of the other edible items at the stalls include jams, olive oils and specialty breads.
The amount of craft items at the Fullarton Plant and Craft Market will keep someone busy for hours. There is stall after stall of wood products, sun catchers, knitted items, leather items, ceramics and crystal. Second-hand and new clothing, jewellery and baskets are available.
Located in the central area of Adelaide, to get to the market take Cross Road, Greenhill Road, Glen Osmond Road or Wattle Street. There are a number of other stores and businesses located along Fullarton Road.
