The Sunshine Coast is one of the most beautiful and natural holiday destinations available to visitors to Australia . Located on the east coast of Australia about an hour’s drive, or half an hour’s flight north of Brisbane , the Sunshine Coast stretches from Caloundra to Rainbow Beach. The weather is renowned for being perfect for any outdoor activities – a great advantage for visitors.
The Sunshine Coast offers a wide range of fine dining, endless golden beaches and a wealth of activities and shopping to take part in whilst visiting the region. It encompasses more than 100km of un spoilt sands, meandering through small towns and making it a perfect holiday destination for families, couples and singles. Visit the famous ‘Big Pineapple’ or one of the other local theme parks, stroll through the glass tunnel of one of Australia ‘s biggest aquariums or have a go at diving with sharks.
Accommodation is bountiful and is designed to suit individuals or groups from all walks of life. Try staying in a beach house to lend an authentic feel to your holiday! Golden Beach is great for family fun, Mooloolaba for outdoor barbecues, Moffat Beach or Coolum for catching some waves, or head to trendy Noosa where shops, eateries and bars are situated just a stone’s throw from the water’s edge.
The Hinterland Great Walk is perfect for more active visitors where you can hike, trek or stroll through stunning scenery, secluded waterfalls and vast landscapes as you explore the region. Take a day trip out or even plan to spend several nights on tour with the twinkling stars and draping tree canopies as your exotic ceiling.
